Why we started HR Help

Losing a job, facing harassment, or being pushed out of a role is one of the most stressful things that can happen to a person, and it's exactly the moment when most people can least afford professional help. Too many Ontario workers simply walk away from what they're owed because the system feels expensive, intimidating, and stacked against them.

We've spent our careers on the inside of these situations, running HR departments, managing terminations, and resolving workplace disputes. We know how employers make these decisions, what your options really look like, and what actually moves the needle. HR Help exists to put that insider knowledge in your hands: practical tools and guides for everyone, affordable one-on-one coaching when you want a real person, and a direct line to resources when your situation needs them.

Our founding team brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in HR leadership, employment relations, and workplace dispute resolution — two complementary practices under one roof.

Over a decade of building and running HR functions for Ontario organizations — from growing startups to large enterprises. We've managed terminations, employee relations, and workplace investigations from the employer's side of the table, so we know exactly how these decisions get made.

Conflict & dispute resolution

More than 20 years resolving workplace conflicts and disputes, backed by a Master of Laws (LLM) focused on employment and organizational conflict and published work in the field — academic rigour applied to the messy, human side of work.
