Samira Firouzfar

CHRP, CHRL, MBA

Co-Founder — HR Practice Lead

Samira is a seasoned HR leader with over 10 years of experience building and managing HR functions across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. As a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), she has worked with organizations of all sizes — from growing startups to large enterprises — navigating the complexities of employment law, workforce management, and employee relations across multiple jurisdictions.

Samira co-founded HR Help out of a belief that every worker deserves clear, honest answers about their rights — not just those who can afford a lawyer. Her practical, no-jargon approach has helped hundreds of employees understand their options and make informed decisions at some of the most stressful moments of their careers.

What we stand for

These principles guide every decision we make — from the tools we build to the advice we give.

Accessible justice

Professional HR and legal guidance should not be a privilege. We built HR Help so every Ontario worker can access clear, honest answers regardless of their budget.

Workers first

Everything we build — our tools, our templates, our consultations — is designed around the worker. We speak plainly, take your situation seriously, and never talk down to you.

Grounded in law

Our guidance is rooted in Ontario employment law — the ESA, the Human Rights Code, and common law — not opinions. We tell you what the law actually says and what it means for you.
